Barbara at Van’s called today. She had the shipping quotes and the terminal locations ready. I was hoping to save some significant money by picking the crates up at the terminal, but the difference was only $18!! And that included lift gate service! No need to bother with picking it up. It should arrive before the holiday weekend. Can’t wait!
I also began installing the brackets that Mike gave me on the wing stand. Here is the progress I made. My garage floor is very uneven, and I tried to use my laser level to ensure everything was true, but I’m very skeptical of its accuracy. The laser seemed to be 1/8 on an inch high shooting from both ends. If I shoot the level point from one side, and then shoot the level point back from that mark, they should line up.. but each time it worked its way higher. I might take it back.
