Fuselage 39 – Rear rudder pedals

I drilled and installed the nut plates for the rear rudder pedal brackets to the front seat ribs.

Next, I began reattaching the empennage. I’m going to attempt to work from the outsides in on the airplane now. Beginning with the empennage, I want to finish everything that could be required for the rear of the airplane. Then I will move to the wing tips and work in. In this way I can install all of the wiring, etc that is required. This way, I can properly configure the cockpit without worrying about dependencies or scratching my head.

Here’s an unclose picture of the modified vertical stab and the turtle deck intersection.
